The Saudi Energy Company reported a 10.5% year-on-year revenue increase for the first half of 2026, totaling SAR 52.2 billion ($13.94 billion). The utility company also saw its EBITDA grow by 8.2% to SAR 21.5 billion and its net profit rise 7.5% to SAR 6.7 billion.

CEO Khalid Al-Ghamdi credited the financial gains to the company's regulated business model and the execution of a strategy focused on grid capacity, battery energy storage, and renewable integration. These investments aim to create a more resilient energy system and expand the infrastructure necessary to meet rising demand.

These initiatives align with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on the Kingdom's energy transition and economic transformation by enhancing the overall reliability of the national electricity system.
