This support helped Restore Britain reach approximately 5% in polling and splintered the right-wing vote, impacting rivals such as Nigel Farage and Reform UK.

Musk's influence extended to supporting far-right activist Tommy Robinson and suggesting that civil war is inevitable in Britain due to immigration. During a street march in London, Musk appeared via video link to call for the dissolution of Parliament. These activities followed a period of instability, including violent anti-immigration riots in Belfast in June 2026.

The political landscape shifted following a special election in Makerfield, where Restore Britain drained support from Reform UK, contributing to Andy Burnham replacing Keir Starmer as prime minister. While the Government of the United Kingdom monitored Musk for national security risks and counter-disinformation, officials avoided direct confrontation due to Musk's ties to the U.S. administration.
