Bose Launches Wired Earbuds After 11-Year Hiatus

Bose is returning to the wired headphone market after an 11-year hiatus with the launch of the Bose Noise Cancelling Wired Earbuds. The company developed the product in eight to nine months to capitalize on a resurgence in wired earbud sales, which grew 10 percent in late 2025 and 20 percent in early 2026.

This market shift is driven largely by Gen Z and Gen A consumers. The new earbuds feature active noise canceling and are available in black, white, and a limited-edition mint color.

Preorders are currently available through Bose and Best Buy, with shipping scheduled to begin on October 15.
