Kuwait AI Data Center Market Reaches 180 Million USD
The Government of Kuwait is driving an AI data center market valued at 180 million USD through digital transformation investments and hyperscale provider entry.
The Government of Kuwait has allocated approximately 300 million KWD for digital transformation initiatives, fueling an AI data center market currently valued at 180 million USD. Future investments in cloud computing infrastructure are expected to exceed 200 million KWD as the nation accelerates digital adoption across government, enterprise, and financial services sectors.
Market growth is led by the expansion of regional operators Gulf Data Hub and Khazna Data Centers, alongside the entry of hyperscale providers Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services. These developments are supported by major telecommunications providers including Zain, Ooredoo, KEMS Zajil Telecom, and STC Kuwait.
Kuwait City serves as the central hub for these investments, leveraging existing telecommunications infrastructure and connectivity from submarine cable systems such as FALCON and the planned 2Africa cable.
