Google Pixel 11 Leaks Reveal Price Hikes and Smaller Batteries

Leaked specifications for the upcoming Pixel 11 smartphone series indicate that Google will raise retail prices and reduce battery capacities for its Pro models. According to industry tipster Roland Quandt, the Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL will feature batteries of 4,850mAh and 5,115mAh respectively, both of which are smaller than the capacities found in previous generations. The standard Pixel 11 is expected to see a slight increase to 4,985mAh.

UK pricing is tipped at £879 for the Pixel 11, £1,079 for the Pro, and £1,279 for the Pro XL. The company is also expected to discontinue the 128GB storage tier, establishing 256GB as the new base configuration. Shakil Barkat, Google's vice president of devices and services, attributed these price increases to the rising costs of RAM and storage components.

The series is scheduled for an official launch on August 12. Technical specifications suggest the devices will be powered by the Tensor G6 processor and equipped with a MediaTek M90 modem.
