Jollibee Lists International Unit on Hong Kong Stock Exchange
Jollibee Foods Corp. will list its international unit in Hong Kong, abandoning previous plans for a United States listing to target Asian and global investors.
Jollibee Foods Corp. announced Tuesday that it will list its international business unit, Jollibee Foods Corporation International, on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. The company abandoned previous plans to list in the United States, citing Hong Kong as a natural market due to the brand's existing recognition in Asia and the city's access to a broad base of regional and global investors.
As part of the transition, the company appointed Richard Chong Woo Shin, its current chief financial and risk officer, as the chief executive officer of the international unit. The decision coincides with a surge in Hong Kong's IPO market, which has generated over $45 billion in proceeds in 2026, primarily from the technology and manufacturing sectors.
