Apple Increases iPhone Duo Orders by 30 Percent
Apple Inc. increased order volumes for the iPhone Duo and shifted Pro series demand toward the Pro Max model to target higher-value products.
Apple Inc. increased order volumes for the iPhone Duo by 30 percent for its fall 2026 lineup, though total orders for the model remain below 10 million units.
The company also modified its strategy for the iPhone 18 Pro series. Apple reduced orders for the iPhone 18 Pro by 10 to 15 percent and increased orders for the iPhone 18 Pro Max by the same margin, maintaining the overall volume for the Pro series.
Supply-chain sources indicate these adjustments suggest consumer demand is shifting toward higher-value products. This trend is expected to increase the average selling price of iPhones and improve financial performance for companies within the Apple supply chain.
