GCC and Kosovo Condemn Houthi Missile Attacks on Saudi Arabia

The Gulf Cooperation Council and the government of Kosovo condemned a series of ballistic missile attacks launched by Houthi militias against Saudi Arabia, including strikes on Riyadh and attempted attacks on the holy city of Mecca.

Jasem Mohamed Albudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, described the targeting of civilians and infrastructure as "hostile and treacherous conduct." He called for a decisive international response to deter further aggression, stating that GCC member states are united in supporting Saudi Arabia's efforts to protect its territorial integrity and regional stability.

Glauk Konjufca, Kosovo's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, characterized the strikes as a "dangerous escalation." He expressed solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and demanded an immediate end to attacks on civilian facilities, while further calling for the respect of freedom of navigation under international law.
