Etihad Airways and STARLUX Airlines Expand Loyalty Partnership

Etihad Airways and STARLUX Airlines expanded their loyalty partnership on October 28, 2026, to integrate the Etihad Guest and COSMILE frequent flyer programs. The agreement introduces two-way mileage accrual and redemption, allowing members of both programs to earn miles on eligible flights and redeem them for award tickets across First, Business, and Economy cabins on either network. Travelers can also now request retroactive mileage credit.

This development builds on a previous August agreement that limited mileage redemption to Etihad Guest members on STARLUX flights. The broader collaboration follows a June 2025 codeshare agreement and the September 2025 launch of Etihad's Abu Dhabi–Taipei service.

The partnership aims to establish Abu Dhabi as a gateway to the Asia-Pacific region and Taipei as a connecting hub for Etihad customers traveling within Asia. Through this integration, COSMILE members gain access to more than 120 destinations via the Etihad hub in Abu Dhabi.
