Cockroach Janta Party Convenes Meeting to Plan Youth Movement

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) will hold a two-day core committee and strategy meeting beginning August 5 in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra. Hosted at the residence of founder Abhijeet Dipke, the meeting aims to determine the organization's future agenda, organizational expansion, and public issues to address. Following the sessions, the group plans to launch a nationwide listening tour to engage youth stakeholders.

This development follows a 36-day student protest at Jantar Mantar in Delhi over the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) paper leak, which led to the July 25 resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. Despite this influence, Dipke stated the CJP has no intention of becoming a political party, citing a lack of faith in the judiciary, media, and electoral systems. He emphasized that the organization will continue as a people's movement.

Dipke has also challenged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to make his degree public, offering to release his own educational and financial documents in exchange. Additionally, he accused Home Minister Amit Shah and the Delhi Police of failing to prevent criminals from infiltrating the Jantar Mantar protests, alleging the resulting violence was a deliberate attempt to defame the movement.
