Pakistan Security Forces Kill 33 Militants in Balochistan

The Military of Pakistan killed 33 militants during a series of counterterrorism operations across Balochistan from September 21 to September 25, 2026. These actions were conducted as part of the broader Operation Azm-e-Istehkam to eliminate regional security threats.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, the casualties occurred during two primary efforts. Operation Shaban resulted in 22 deaths, including five militants killed on September 24. A subsequent intelligence-based operation in Nushki on September 25 killed 11 militants following an intense exchange of fire at a hideout. Security forces recovered weapons, ammunition, and explosives during the raids.

The military characterized the militants as "Indian-sponsored Khwarij" and part of the "Fitna al-Khawarij." Officials stated that clearance operations will continue until the threat is fully eliminated.
