Various utility and maintenance companies scheduled multiple road closures across Cambridgeshire for the week beginning September 14, 2026. These disruptions include a closure of St Johns Street in Cambridge from September 14 to 25 and a closure of Fen Road in Pidley from September 14 to 18 to facilitate work by Cambridge Water.
Infrastructure projects are also planned for Stirtloe Lane in Buckden and Pampisford Road in Hildersham, where Openreach will conduct works. Additionally, Anglian Water will perform maintenance on Bythorn Road in Covington. Other planned closures include Harrison Way in St Ives, Mill Street in Gamlingay, and Gosmoor Lane in Elm.
Traffic restrictions for these projects vary between full-day closures and specific nightly windows.
