FBI Purges Senior Agents Linked to Deep State List

The Federal Bureau of Investigation forced out several veteran officials as part of a campaign to remove employees perceived as politically opposed to Donald Trump.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has targeted veteran employees for removal or punishment in a campaign to purge officials perceived as politically opposed to the administration of Donald Trump. FBI Director Kash Patel has identified certain agents as part of the "deep state" and maintains an "enemies list" to guide these actions.

Senior agents Spencer Evans and Stanley Meador, who led field offices in Las Vegas and Richmond, Virginia, respectively, were forced out of the agency. Evans was removed following his reluctance to approve COVID-19 vaccine exemptions, while Meador's removal followed a 2023 memo he authored regarding threats from anti-abortion activists.

In Norfolk, Virginia, top deputy Michael Feinberg faced threats of investigation and demotion. These threats were linked to Feinberg's friendship with Peter Strzok, an individual Patel has specifically categorized as part of the deep state.
