Cognizant Technology Solutions and Gulf Edge Build Thailand AI Hub

Cognizant Technology Solutions and Gulf Edge Company Limited announced a strategic partnership on July 23, 2026, in Bangkok to accelerate enterprise artificial intelligence adoption across Thailand and Southeast Asia. The alliance integrates the global AI engineering and digital transformation expertise of Cognizant Technology Solutions with the sovereign digital infrastructure of Gulf Edge, which includes cloud services, data centers, and satellite technology.

The collaboration targets end-to-end AI capabilities for several key sectors, including banking, healthcare, energy, telecommunications, manufacturing, and the public sector. By delivering specialized platforms and systems integration, the companies aim to transition Thailand toward an AI-native economy.

Beyond corporate solutions, the partnership seeks to position Thailand as a regional AI hub by attracting global investment and collaborating with universities and research institutions to cultivate local talent. Ganesh Ayyar of Cognizant Technology Solutions noted that the joint effort has the potential to generate approximately 1,000 high-skilled jobs in advanced AI and digital transformation.
