Voters Cast Ballots in Nebraska and Oklahoma Midterms

Voters in Nebraska and Oklahoma cast ballots for midterm elections on November 3, 2026, amid rainy weather in Omaha and scaled operations in Tulsa.

Voters across Nebraska and Oklahoma cast ballots for midterm elections on Tuesday, November 3, 2026. In Omaha, Nebraska, citizens queued at polling locations such as the Omaha Community Playhouse and St. Leo the Great Catholic Church, with some navigating rainy weather to participate in the contest for the Nebraska 2nd Congressional District seat between candidates Brinker Harding and Denise Powell.

In Oklahoma, polling places operated from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The Government of Oklahoma provided the Oklahoma Voter Portal to help registered voters locate assigned precincts and view sample ballots. In Tulsa County, the Tulsa County Election Board deployed over 100 internal staff and up to 1,300 precinct workers to manage the voting process and ensure the timely return of results.

Tulsa County officials required voters to present a current state-issued photo ID or a mailed voter identification card, though those without identification were permitted to cast provisional ballots. Gwen Freeman, Secretary of the Tulsa County Election Board, provided voting instructions and encouraged participation, stating, "If you don't vote, others will vote for you."
