Fujifilm First-Quarter Profit Drops Despite 10% Revenue Growth

Fujifilm Holdings Corporation reported a decline in first-quarter profit to JPY 37.424 billion, down from JPY 53.767 billion during the same period last year. This drop in the bottom line saw earnings per share fall to JPY 31.23 from JPY 44.59.

Despite the profit decrease, the company experienced growth in its top line. Revenue rose 10.3% to JPY 826.493 billion, compared to JPY 749.482 billion in the previous year.

Looking ahead to the full fiscal year, the company provided guidance projecting revenue of JPY 3.560 trillion and basic earnings per share of JPY 234.19.
