Taoyuan Appoints K-pop Star Yeh Shu-hua as Tourism Ambassador

The Taoyuan City Government launched an international promotional campaign to attract global travelers to Taoyuan, Taiwan. To lead the initiative, the city appointed Yeh Shu-hua, a Taoyuan native and member of the K-pop group i-dle, as its official Tourism Ambassador.

The campaign emphasizes the city's status as a primary international gateway. It promotes three signature travel routes: the Taoyuan Airport MRT line, the Dalongmen Tourism Corridor, and the historic districts of Taoyuan and Zhongli.

To drive tourism through the second half of 2026, the city is highlighting several flagship events. These include the Taoyuan Land Art Festival, the Pearl Coast Music Festival, the Taiwan Design Expo, and Taoyuan Halloween.
