Lululemon Appoints Tara Poseley to Board of Directors

Lululemon athletica inc. appointed former chief product officer Tara Poseley to its board as part of a cooperation agreement with founder Chip Wilson.

The board of lululemon athletica inc. expanded to 13 directors with the appointment of Tara Poseley, effective October 19, 2026. Poseley previously served as the company's chief product officer from 2013 to 2015 and as CEO of Paula’s Choice Skincare, bringing three decades of retail and product innovation experience to the role.

This appointment is a component of a cooperation agreement reached on May 26, 2026, with company founder Dennis J. "Chip" Wilson. The agreement was designed to resolve a public dispute in which Wilson accused the company of failing to keep pace with its competitors. To end Wilson's public disparagement of the brand, lululemon also added Laura Gentile and Marc Maurer to its board.

CEO Heidi O’Neill stated that Poseley's guidance will be invaluable as the company places product, design, and innovation at the center of its operations. Board Chair Marti Morfitt noted that Poseley's combination of creative instinct and product expertise will help the company reinvigorate the brand and enhance shareholder value.
