Azerbaijan Sends $1.47 Million in Energy Aid to Ukraine

Azerbaijan dispatched a shipment of electrical equipment to Ukraine as humanitarian aid to support the restoration of the country's energy system. The cargo, which includes transformers, cables, and wires, is valued at 2.5 million Azerbaijani manats, or approximately $1.47 million.
President Ilham Aliyev authorized the delivery through an order signed on September 21, 2026. The shipment was organized by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy following a formal request from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. The equipment was dispatched from the Sumgayit Technologies Park.
This delivery is part of a series of humanitarian aid shipments provided by Azerbaijan to assist Ukraine's electricity supply infrastructure.
