Paramount+ and Amazon Raise UK Subscription Prices
Paramount+ and Amazon are increasing subscription costs for UK customers, with Paramount+ raising monthly plan fees and Amazon hiking Amazon Kids+ annual rates.
Paramount+ is increasing monthly subscription prices for its customers in the United Kingdom in August 2026. The price hikes affect all available tiers: the Basic with Ads plan is rising from £4.99 to £5.99, the Standard plan from £7.99 to £9.99, and the Premium plan from £10.99 to £12.99.
These changes represent a monthly increase of up to £2, totaling £24 per year for Standard and Premium users. The mobile provider Three, which bundles the streaming service in certain plans, announced that these price increases will take effect for its customers on August 27, though users with inclusive periods will not see the change until those periods expire.
Separately, Amazon is increasing the annual subscription cost for Amazon Kids+ for Prime members. The price is rising from £38 to £59.99, an increase of nearly 58%. Amazon began notifying subscribers of this price adjustment via email on August 5.
