Ainos and BioPhoenix Sign $10 Million VELDONA License Deal

Ainos Inc. entered into a VELDONA License Agreement with BioPhoenix Co., Ltd. on September 24, 2026, establishing a collaboration framework with a potential aggregate value of $10 million. Under the terms of the deal, BioPhoenix receives an exclusive worldwide license to the VELDONA platform for two initial indications: Sjögren's disease and thrombocytopenia.

BioPhoenix assumes primary responsibility for the funding and execution of clinical and regulatory development. This includes all activities necessary to secure approval from the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration. The $10 million valuation comprises an initial license fee, a one-time fee upon the first sublicense, and conditional consideration for up to 15 additional indications.

Ainos retains ownership of the background intellectual property and the core VELDONA platform. The company also maintains opportunities for downstream commercial revenue sharing and product supply. This partner-funded model is designed to lower the capital requirements Ainos would typically face during late-stage clinical development.
