Severfield plc Reports New Data Centre Wins Amid Transition Year
Severfield plc reports new data centre projects in Europe and India while maintaining its FY27 profit guidance of £12 million to £15 million.
Severfield plc reported on July 30, 2026, that it has secured several new projects in the data centre sector across the UK, Germany, and Sweden. These wins contributed to a total order book of £534 million as of July 1, with £375 million slated for delivery over the next 12 months.
Parallel growth occurred within the company's Indian joint venture, Jindal Stainless Steelway Ltd., which expanded its order book to £327 million following similar awards in the data centre space. Despite these gains, the company describes fiscal year 2027 as a transition year. Management attributes this to the completion of lower-margin work resulting from a competitive pricing environment.
Severfield expects higher-quality projects to drive profitability improvements in late 2027 and into 2028. The board maintained its FY27 guidance, projecting an underlying profit before tax between £12 million and £15 million.
