Broadcom Forecasts AI Semiconductor Revenue to Hit $230 Billion
Broadcom Inc. projects its AI semiconductor revenue will reach $230 billion by fiscal 2028 through custom chip partnerships with major tech firms.
Broadcom Inc. issued updated financial guidance forecasting a massive surge in its artificial intelligence semiconductor revenue. The company estimates this revenue will reach $115 billion in fiscal 2027 and double to $230 billion in fiscal 2028.
To achieve these targets, the company is focusing on the design of application-specific integrated chips (ASICs) for a select group of large clients. These custom chips are intended to improve computing efficiency within data centers. Broadcom's primary partners for these developments include Alphabet Inc., Meta Platforms Inc., Anthropic, and OpenAI.
Broadcom stated it has already secured the necessary supply chain infrastructure to support this projected expansion.
