Raley's to Close Brentwood Store as Part of Retail Cuts

Raley's Supermarkets will close its store at 2400 Sand Creek Road in Brentwood, California, on November 3. According to filings with the state Employment Development Department, the closure will permanently eliminate 51 jobs.

This action follows a series of recent reductions by the retailer and its associated brands. Raley's closed a location in Antioch in late April, resulting in 43 job losses. In June, Nob Hill Foods, a Raley's brand, shuttered a market in Mountain View, which eliminated 50 positions.

The company continues to scale back its footprint, with a Nob Hill Foods store in Los Gatos scheduled to close in June 2027.
