Mazda Global Sales Rise 7.2 Percent in June 2026

Mazda Motor Corporation reported a 7.2 percent increase in June global vehicle sales despite a 5 percent decline in total sales for the first half of 2026.

Mazda Motor Corporation reported a 7.2 percent year-on-year increase in global passenger vehicle sales for June 2026, with 111,078 units sold. This growth marks a recovery from a 5 percent decline recorded in June of the previous year, supported by an 18 percent rebound in domestic Japanese sales and a nearly 6 percent increase in overseas markets.

Despite the June growth, total global vehicle sales for the first six months of 2026 fell nearly 5 percent to 606,850 units. Regional performance remained mixed throughout the first half of the year. Deliveries in Europe increased by 11 percent, while sales in the United States dropped 4 percent and China saw a decrease of nearly 10 percent.

The CX-5 continued as the company's best-selling global model, representing nearly 29 percent of total sales. While sales for the half-year period declined, global vehicle production rose by 4.8 percent to 601,444 units, driven largely by an 11 percent increase in production output within Japan.
