Stellantis Recalls 957,000 Vehicles Over Rearview Camera Glitch
Stellantis is recalling nearly 957,000 vehicles globally after a software glitch was found to disrupt rearview camera displays in several 2026 and 2027 models.
Stellantis is recalling nearly 957,000 vehicles worldwide due to a software glitch that can disrupt the rearview camera display. The recall includes approximately 850,000 vehicles in the United States and 107,000 vehicles across Canada, Mexico, and other international markets.
The defect affects 2026 and 2027 model year vehicles across the Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram brands, specifically impacting various pickups, SUVs, chargers, and minivans. The company reported that there are no known accidents or injuries resulting from the software issue.
Owners of affected vehicles in the United States will receive a resolution through an over-the-air radio software update. Until the update is applied, the company advised drivers whose displays are not functioning to rely on their side and rearview mirrors when reversing.
