White House Probe Finds No Evidence of Grenell Skimming

White House officials cleared Richard Grenell of skimming $17.6 million after an investigation revealed the funds were government payments for a software contract.

A White House investigation cleared Richard Grenell of accusations that he skimmed $17.6 million from a philanthropic donation. The inquiry began after Alina Habba Mildon, a former lawyer for President Donald Trump, alleged that Grenell diverted funds purportedly donated by her husband, Turhan Mildon.

Officials determined the money did not come from Turhan Mildon but originated from a government account in the Democratic Republic of Congo as payment for a software contract. The investigation further revealed significant discrepancies regarding Turhan Mildon's personal and professional history. While he claims to be a 29-year-old billionaire, official documents suggest he is 25.

Evidence also indicates that Turhan Mildon exaggerated his influence with global leaders in Turkey, Congo, and Venezuela. His business operations in Venezuela are currently under strain, and the Venezuelan government has canceled a cement plant contract citing underinvestment.
