Anthropic Invests $100 Million to Launch Claude Frontier Academy
Anthropic is investing $100 million to train 10,000 AI engineers by 2027 through a new certification program for its corporate partners.
Anthropic is investing $100 million to establish the Claude Frontier Academy, a training initiative aimed at certifying 10,000 frontier deployed engineers by the end of 2027. The program targets engineers from companies within the Claude Partner Network, such as Morgan Stanley, Accenture, and Novo Nordisk, to accelerate the integration of artificial intelligence into business operations.
The academy employs a medical teaching model that incorporates residencies and simulated enterprise deployments. Anthropic expects to issue the first certifications in early 2027, responding to a broad increase in demand for AI engineering expertise across multiple industries.
This expansion comes as the company prepares for a potential public market debut later this year. Financial reports indicate that while Anthropic generated nearly $4.6 billion in revenue last year, it faced an operating loss of more than $8 billion.
