Adidas Raises Full-Year Profit Forecast After Record Quarter
Adidas increased its full-year operating profit forecast to 2.5 billion euros following record third-quarter revenue and operating profit.
Adidas raised its full-year operating profit forecast to approximately 2.5 billion euros, an increase from its previous estimate of 2.3 billion euros. The adjustment follows record third-quarter results, with preliminary figures showing revenue rose 9 percent to 7.25 billion euros.
Operating profit for the third quarter climbed 37 percent to 1.01 billion euros, marking the highest quarterly level in the company's history. This growth was driven by healthy full-price sales and a tariff refund of approximately 200 million euros from the United States, although unfavorable currency developments hindered overall performance.
Looking ahead, the company expects currency-neutral revenue growth of 9 percent to 10 percent for 2026. Adidas plans to reinvest roughly 100 million euros into the business during the final quarter of the year to support long-term profitability targets. Definitive third-quarter numbers are scheduled for release on October 29.
