Maruti Suzuki India Sales Rise 24.4 Percent in September

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd reported a 24.4 percent increase in total sales for September 2026, moving 236,013 units compared to 189,665 units in September 2025. The growth was driven largely by a nearly 37 percent surge in domestic passenger vehicle sales, which totaled 181,838 units.

Total domestic sales, including light commercial vehicles, reached 185,252 units. The company saw gains across several categories, with utility vehicle sales climbing to 78,911 units from 48,695 units the previous year. Sales of mini, compact, and mid-sized cars also rose to 91,887 units.

Export volume grew to 44,219 units, up from 42,204 units in September 2025.
