GE Vernova Raises 2026 Forecasts Amid AI Power Demand
GE Vernova raised its 2026 revenue and free-cash-flow guidance following strong second-quarter growth driven by AI data center demand for gas turbines and grid equipment.
GE Vernova raised its full-year 2026 financial guidance on July 22, forecasting revenue between $45.5 billion and $46.5 billion and free cash flow between $11.5 billion and $12.5 billion. The update follows second-quarter results featuring a 22% revenue increase to $11.1 billion and an 88% organic jump in orders to $24.2 billion.
GE Vernova attributed the growth to its Power and Electrification segments, which are seeing surging demand for gas turbines and grid equipment from utilities and AI data-center developers. Data-center-related orders have exceeded $5 billion this year, and gas turbines are largely sold out through 2030. To meet this demand, the company is expanding production capacity at facilities in New York and South Carolina.
Despite a total backlog of $176 billion, the company's shares fell approximately 6.3% on July 22. This decline followed reports of a widening adjusted EBITDA loss in the Wind business, which reached $275 million compared to $165 million the previous year, as Wind orders fell by about 40% due to weak onshore demand.
