Azerbaijan will host over 500 global delegates for the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue to address global discrimination and inequalities.
Azerbaijan is preparing to host the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, an event expecting more than 500 delegates from over 100 countries. The forum, themed Building Bridges in a Divided World – For a Shared Future, aims to address global discrimination and inequalities stemming from current social and economic processes.
Farid Jafarov, the Deputy Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan, announced that the event will bring together government officials, religious leaders, media members, and youth leaders. The forum intends to identify gaps in intercultural relations and develop a vision document for the future through scientific discussions and youth-oriented projects.
As part of the official itinerary, participants will visit the cities of Shusha and Fuzuli on October 29. Jafarov highlighted the international significance of Shusha, noting its previous designations as the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World in 2023 and the Cultural Capital of the Islamic World in 2024. The forum's program also includes a joint event with Karabakh University during the visit to these liberated territories.
