Houthi Attacks in Taiz Kill Civilians and Medical Staff

Houthi forces launched rocket and drone attacks on residential areas in Taiz, Yemen, killing civilians and a medical driver.

Houthi forces launched a series of artillery, rocket, and drone attacks on residential areas in Taiz, Yemen, on Tuesday. In the Seena and Asifirah neighborhoods, the use of Katyusha rockets and heavy artillery killed at least two civilians and wounded between 8 and 20 others, including women and children.

In a separate incident in the Sabr district, Houthi militias deployed a drone to strike an ambulance. The vehicle was transporting a woman previously wounded by mortar fire; the strike killed the driver and critically injured a medical doctor.

Simultaneously, the Yemeni Armed Forces and popular resistance thwarted a Houthi infiltration attempt on the city's northern front. The Taiz Military Axis Media Center reported that the operation resulted in several militant casualties.
