EVA Air Launches Nonstop Taipei to Delhi Flight Service

EVA Air will begin nonstop flights between Taipei and Delhi on December 1, becoming the only Taiwan-based carrier to offer direct passenger service to India.

Starting December 1, 2026, EVA Air will launch nonstop flight service between Taipei and Delhi, making it the only Taiwan-based carrier providing direct passenger flights to India. The airline will operate five round-trip flights per week using Airbus A330-300 aircraft. Flight BR367 is scheduled to depart Taipei at 11:00 and arrive in Delhi at 15:35, while the return flight BR368 will depart Delhi at 19:55 and land in Taipei at 04:20 the following morning.

President Clay Sun stated the route is driven by deepening economic ties in the semiconductor, artificial intelligence, manufacturing, and technology sectors. The service is intended to benefit business travelers, students, and researchers. To expand reach within the region, the airline has partnered with Air India to facilitate connections from New Delhi to other major Indian cities.

Beyond regional travel, the route aims to strengthen connectivity between India and North America via the Taipei hub. This strategy is supported by Taiwan's conditional visa-waiver transit program, which applies to eligible Indian nationals traveling to the United States or Canada.
