Michigan DOT Schedules I-75 Closures for Flint Bridge Work

The Michigan Department of Transportation announced two construction projects to perform bridge work on I-75 beneath two I-69 ramps in Flint. The projects require full closures of I-75 from midnight to 8:00 AM on two separate weekends.

During the first closure from Friday, October 16 to Saturday, October 17, northbound I-75 traffic will detour via I-475 and westbound I-69. Southbound I-75 will maintain partial access, though the left lane will be closed from I-69 to Bristol Road.

For the second closure from Friday, October 23 to Saturday, October 24, southbound I-75 traffic will detour via the eastbound I-69 ramp onto southbound I-475. Northbound I-75 will remain partially open with the left lane closed from Bristol Road to I-69.
