Saudi Arabia Launches One-Year Multiple-Entry Umrah Visa

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah introduced a new multiple-entry Umrah visa valid for 365 days from the date of issuance. The visa allows pilgrims to enter the Kingdom several times over one year, provided their cumulative stay does not exceed 90 days. The initiative is part of the Saudi Vision 2030 and the Pilgrim Experience Programme, aiming to modernize religious tourism and improve service efficiency through digital integration.

To utilize the visa, travelers must purchase an approved service package and obtain an Umrah permit via the Nusuk digital platform before each visit. The visa is automatically deactivated upon departure and reactivated once regulatory requirements for the next trip are met.

The visa is not valid during the Hajj season, specifically from the first of Dhu Al Qadah until the 13th of Dhu Al Hijjah. This restriction ensures the visa remains inactive during the peak pilgrimage period to manage crowds and logistics.
