Motilal Oswal Asset Management Hits ₹2 Lakh Crore AUM

Motilal Oswal Asset Management Company reached a total of ₹2 lakh crore in assets under management as of August 7, 2026. This milestone spans the firm's mutual fund, alternative investment fund, and portfolio management services businesses.

The growth followed a record SIP inflow of ₹16,479 crore during the 2026 fiscal year, supported by the addition of approximately 56.08 lakh SIPs. To broaden its investor base and attract those with lower risk appetites, the company launched 18 passive and 5 active mutual funds during the same period.

Prateek Agrawal, the company's MD and CEO, attributed the achievement to the firm's Quality, Growth, Longevity and Price investment philosophy and a strategic focus on high-growth earnings portfolios. Following the announcement, shares of the parent entity, Motilal Oswal Financial Services, were traded on the BSE.
