Snowflake Deepens AI Partnerships with Anthropic and ThoughtSpot
Snowflake integrated Anthropic's Claude models and ThoughtSpot's agentic analytics into its Cortex AI suite to enable secure, governed enterprise AI deployment.
During the Snowflake Summit 26 in San Francisco, Snowflake announced a deepened strategic alliance with Anthropic to integrate Claude AI models directly into Snowflake Cortex AI, Cortex Code, and Snowflake Intelligence. This collaboration, building on a 200 million USD agreement from December 2025, allows enterprises to execute complex workflows in cybersecurity and finance without moving sensitive data outside Snowflake's governed environment. Early adopters including Block, Carvana, and Notion are utilizing these tools for threat analysis and operational planning.
Snowflake also expanded its technical ecosystem through new integrations with ThoughtSpot. ThoughtSpot's Spotter intelligence engine and suite of agents now operate within the Snowflake security boundary, utilizing Snowflake Semantic Views to maintain a single source of truth for business logic. This allows organizations to bring their own fine-tuned LLMs to the platform for greater data sovereignty.
Additionally, Snowflake recognized key ecosystem partners with annual awards. Sigma was named the Business Intelligence Product Partner of the Year for the fourth consecutive year, receiving honors for its role in AI analytics and CoCo adoption. Monte Carlo was named the Data Governance Product Partner of the Year for its observability tools that ensure the reliability of agentic AI pipelines.
