Jet2 Cancels All Flights and Holidays to La Palma
Jet2.com is withdrawing all flight and holiday services to La Palma from Manchester and London Stansted following a review of customer demand.
Jet2.com is canceling all flights and holiday bookings to La Palma in the Canary Islands from both Manchester and London Stansted airports. The airline axed a planned direct route from London Stansted that was scheduled to launch on November 6, and will terminate its existing Manchester service on October 30.
The Manchester route had operated twice weekly since April. Jet2 was one of only two airlines providing direct service from Manchester to the island; TUI Group also offered seasonal flights from the city but has no available services after October. TUI continues to maintain weekly flights from London Gatwick.
Jet2 stated the decision followed a review of its flight program and customer demand. Affected passengers are being offered the choice of rebooking another holiday or receiving a full refund. The company noted that it continually adjusts its offerings in response to customer needs.
