Reliance Group Plans 100 Billion Rupee Securitization Deal
Reliance Group is seeking to raise approximately $1 billion through a securitization deal backed by rental receivables from group companies including Reliance Jio.
The Reliance Group is planning to raise up to 100 billion rupees, approximately $1 billion, through a securitization deal. This transaction is expected to be one of the largest asset-backed securities deals in India this year.
The securities will be backed by rental receivables from various group companies, including Reliance Jio Infocomm Ltd. The proposed notes carry a five-year term with a coupon rate set between 8.35% and 8.40%.
Barclays Plc is serving as the sole arranger for the borrowing push.
