Israeli Filmmakers Release Documentary on Gaza War Atrocities

Filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor released a documentary featuring Israeli soldiers who describe intentional killings of Palestinian civilians and children in Gaza.

Israeli filmmakers Yuval Abraham and Rachel Szor released a documentary titled NAZA, produced by The Guardian, which features interviews with 24 Israeli soldiers and intelligence officers. The film contains testimony from military personnel describing the intentional killing of Palestinian civilians and children, including the use of annihilation zones where unarmed individuals were killed and labeled as terrorists.

Specific accounts in the film include Israeli snipers firing on Palestinians at food distribution sites and the targeting of individuals in private homes. One source describes hacking the phone of a 12-year-old girl to locate her father, an action that resulted in the girl's death.

Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett and military chief Eyal Zamir denounced the documentary as a "horrific blood libel." The film is currently screening in more than 50 countries and will be available for free on The Guardian's website in late November.
