Minor Hotels Reports 143% Surge in Middle East Bookings

Minor Hotels reported a 143% increase in room-night bookings across its Middle East properties during the final full week of June 2026.

Minor Hotels reported a significant recovery in travel demand across its 26 Middle East properties, recording a 143% surge in room-night bookings during the final full week of June 2026. This growth is largely concentrated in third-quarter reservations, with average daily rates pacing 17.1% higher than the previous year.

International wholesale demand rose by 575%, driven primarily by travelers from Russia, Germany, and the UK. The hotel group also achieved record revenue during Eid Al Adha, which grew 23% over 2025 levels due to a rise in staycations and intra-GCC travel.

To capitalize on this momentum, the company is expanding its regional brand portfolio and signing new hotels. Management indicated that this growth is occurring while the company maintains pricing discipline and focuses on guest experiences to ensure long-term resilience in Middle East tourism.
