Both houses of the Indian Parliament faced significant disruptions and multiple adjournments on August 11, 2026, during the monsoon session. In the Rajya Sabha, Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan rejected attempts by Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge to raise state-specific subjects, ruling that such actions disrupted proceedings. Despite repeated adjournments until 2 p.m., the house managed to table committee reports on urban affairs and rural development.
