Gauzy Ltd closed a $7 million private investment in public equity on October 15, 2026, to fund a court-approved debt settlement. The offering was led by CEO Eyal Peso and a group of accredited investors, involving the sale of 2,383,279 ordinary shares at $2.9371 per share.
The funds will be used to resolve approximately $61 million of the company's pre-petition liabilities, following a settlement finalized by the District Court of Tel Aviv-Jaffa on September 8, 2026. As part of the agreement, the company will issue 953,311 shares to settlement trustees Simion Keidar and Ehud Gindes.
A portion of the proceeds, totaling $1,638,000, is subject to refund and share cancellation if the Lyon Commercial Court does not approve a continuation plan for the company's French subsidiary, Safety Tech SAS, by November 13, 2026.
