Motorola Prepares Razr Flex to Challenge Samsung and Apple

Motorola is preparing to launch a new wide folding smartphone, internally codenamed Parker and known as the Razr Flex. The device is positioned as a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Apple's iPhone Duo, with a pricing strategy likely designed to undercut Samsung.

The smartphone features a 6.92-inch internal display, which is smaller than the 7.6-inch screens found on its primary rivals. It includes a 4.97-inch cover screen and is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, 12GB of RAM, and a 5,000mAh battery. Storage is set at 256GB, and the camera system consists of dual 50-megapixel rear cameras and 32-megapixel selfie cameras on both displays.

Motorola plans to announce the device in mid-December, offering it in Pantone Coriander and Pantone Dark Botanical Garden finishes. A full reveal may follow at CES 2027 during Lenovo Tech World.
