Paul Rivera Alleges DNC Suppressed 2024 Election Autopsy Chapter

Paul Rivera, the author of the Democratic National Committee's 2024 election autopsy, alleges the party suppressed a critical chapter titled “What Happened in 2024” when releasing a draft report in May 2026. Rivera claims the omitted section questioned Joseph Biden's decision to seek re-election and criticized a class of wealthy Democratic strategists for being disconnected from average Americans.

DNC Chairman Ken Martin disputes these claims, stating that the disputed chapter was never provided to him or the committee. While Rivera asserts he hand-delivered the document in a binder to Martin in January, Martin maintains the binder contained only lessons learned materials and that no digital record of the chapter exists within party files.

Following the dispute, Rivera released an independent 564-page review of the 2024 election. He stated the move is intended to force systemic changes within the party, arguing that a lack of responsibility prevents necessary reform and growth.
