JPMorgan Chase Integrates Gusto Payroll Into Business Platform

JPMorgan Chase integrated payroll services powered by Gusto into its Chase Business Online platform to streamline financial management for small business owners.

JPMorgan Chase integrated Chase Payroll into its Chase Business Online platform on October 7, 2026. The new service allows small business owners to manage employee payments, taxes, and payroll within the same interface used for banking and payment activities.

The offering is powered by Gusto, a payroll technology firm that has partnered with Chase since 2023. The integration provides business owners with next-day processing and streamlined financial management. Chase based the decision on internal research showing that 89% of business owners prefer managing payroll on their banking platform, while 37% noted that meeting payroll has pressured their cash flow over the last six months.

Stevie Baron, CEO of Chase for Business, stated that small business owners must constantly balance employees, customers, expenses, and cash flow, and seek tools that work together. Tomer London, a co-founder at Gusto, noted that bringing the payroll experience directly into the banking platform helps businesses pay teams accurately and on time while staying current with changing requirements.
