Apple Deploys Internal AI Tools to Refine Apple Intelligence
Apple Inc. launched two internal AI-powered applications, Enchanté and Enterprise Assistant, to boost employee productivity and test language models before public release.
Apple Inc. deployed two internal AI-powered applications, Enchanté and Enterprise Assistant, to enhance employee productivity and refine the company's artificial intelligence capabilities. Launched around November 2025, these tools allow staff across all departments, including engineering, design, and marketing, to analyze internal documents and provide feedback on response quality.
Enchanté operates as a ChatGPT-like assistant for development, proofreading, and general knowledge. It utilizes Apple's own Foundation Models as well as approved models from Anthropic and Google. The Enterprise Assistant serves as a specialized centralized knowledge hub for corporate policies, covering areas such as health insurance and technical setup instructions.
This internal rollout enables the company to test AI in real-world scenarios and improve language models for future Apple Intelligence features without exposing unfinished technology to the public. Craig Federighi stated that the company aims for an AI experience integrated into workflows rather than a standalone chatbot.
