Saudi Downtown Company Awards Al-Khobar Infrastructure Contract to Ansab

Saudi Downtown Company, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Public Investment Fund, has awarded a contract to Ansab General Contracting Company for major infrastructure works in downtown Al-Khobar. The scope of the project includes the design and development of road networks and street lighting.

The project is part of a broader urban development initiative launched in 2022 by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud. Under this mandate, Saudi Downtown Company is responsible for developing more than 10 million square metres of land across downtown districts in 12 Saudi cities, including Al-Khobar, Medina, and Tabuk.
