Samsung Exynos 2700 Outperforms Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6

Samsung Electronics is developing the Exynos 2700 chip, which early benchmarks suggest surpasses Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 in GPU and CPU performance.

Samsung Electronics is developing the Exynos 2700 chip, which early industry benchmarks suggest outperforms the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 from Qualcomm. Reports indicate the Exynos 2700 surpasses its competitor by 5% in peak GPU performance, with some specific tests showing gains between 22% and 24% over the standard and Pro versions of the Qualcomm chip.

In addition to graphics, the Exynos 2700 reportedly holds a 9% advantage in multi-core CPU performance and demonstrates faster AI prompt understanding and response generation. To ensure the chip's viability and address historical overheating issues, Samsung is implementing upgraded Heat Path Block technology.

The new hardware may utilize a 10-core structure with clock speeds reaching approximately 2.88GHz.
